Update -
We have seen an improvement in delivery times for SMS services from O2 from about 11:10am this morning. We will continue to monitor and post any updates here.

Monitoring -
We are aware of some degradation of SMS services from O2 starting at 10:36 BST. Sending and receiving of SMS, and receiving of delivery receipt may be affected or delayed. Other mobile networks that rely on the O2 infrastructure may also be affected.
GOV.UK Notify itself is fully operational. We will continue to monitor and post any updates here.

At some point during this maintenance, Notify will be unavailable intermittently.
During this downtime:
- The Notify web interface - https://www.notifications.service.gov.uk - will be unavailable - API requests will receive an error - Text message replies and delivery receipts will be delayed
This is because we will be upgrading our database.
