Investigating

Starting on the evening of the October 5 2026:

A bug with a third party dependency has caused a partial outage for those using the notify REST API directly (not using one of our API clients).

Users who use the API directly may be getting a high rate of errors back from the API and may find they are unable to send or check the status of notifications they have sent.

We believe we have identified the dependency that has caused the issue and are aiming to have a fix deployed within ~ the next hour. We will update by 4pm at the latest.
